Last weekend Jon and I browsed Kobey's Swap Meet here in San Diego. I don't know what it is about thrifting and bargain shopping that I love so much? Don't get me wrong, there are some things that I just can't buy (certain clothing, shoes, couches, etc.), but for the most part it's a lot of fun finding one of a kind treasures.
We found a magnet for our fridge of a bunch of carrots:
and this neat globe:
We also grabbed some Jamba; I could happily drink the sweet nectar of Jamba Juice every single day. Berry Lime Sublime is always my go-to smoothie, it's from their original menu!
After passing our favorite pet store, that is conveniently located across the street from the Swap Meet, we couldn't help but stop in. I held this little girl and contemplated (still contemplating) long and hard about getting her. If she's still there when we get back from Salt Lake, she's mine.
I also made some (mini) funfetti cupcakes for a co-worker's going away, Peet's won't be quite the same without her.
Five more days of work and one day off until Salt Lake, I can hardly contain myself!
We skipped Kobeys this week and trekked to national city for the first time. it was 100 times better....and way cheaper. That globe is pretty wonderful though.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to the National City swap meet for two years! We'll have to go back soon!

ReplyDeleteYes! My family is dutch and my opa is my best friend!
ReplyDeleteThat's so cute! My grandparents are from Germany so my family uses Oma and Opa as well.
ReplyDeleteI always get asked if I'm German, probably because I don't have blonde hair and blue eyes...
