Eisley

I can vividly remember the first time hearing Eisley, 5 years ago. I was on vacation in San Diego visiting my friend Ashlee (now I live here and work with her!). She put on Golly Sandra in the car and I immediately took a liking to it. Eisley holds a special place in my heart, I will always relate a few of their songs with happenings during my life. I've only seen them play twice (with Ashlee of course), but I will for sure be at their show this tour.

Eisley is a band from Tyler, Texas consisting of four siblings (Chauntelle, Sherri, Stacy, and Weston DuPree) and their cousin (Garron DuPree). What a talented tight-knit little family.

Everyone should check them out, if you havn't already. This past Monday they came out with a brand new album, The Valley. My favorite song on the album is the very last track, Ambulance. Lucky for me I heard it for the first time live and it was excellent!

Here is a playlist with a few of Eisley's songs. Unfortunately Playlist didn't have many to choose from (or my favorite: Brightly Wound), but these are still great nonetheless!

myspace playlist

I haven't logged into Myspace in well over a year, but whenever I'm on the computer for an extended amount of time I always find myself typing in the URL just to hear my old eclectic mix of music. I haven't added or altered this playlist in probably two years, but I wanted to share it here so enjoy!
