Adams Ave Street Fair

I love fairs, markets, carnivals and all sorts of community gatherings including food, pets, music and people. The Adams Avenue Street Fair was very impressive and FREE! Had some of the best lemonade I've ever tasted, walked around for hours, checked out 300ish craft and food vendors and with six stages of music (70+ artists) heard some awesome live/new music.

Some of the best chinese food! Vegetarian combination plate.

Blueberry Italian ice.

Stopped into the raddest bookstore I've ever stepped foot in. Adams Ave Book Store is an old converted two story apartment building with original hardwood floors and completely stocked with books. Not to mention two adorable kitties (Felexia & Bartleby) that hang out around the shop every day.

Also, your mention of lemonade made me think of a recipe I recently tried. Truly the best lemonade I have ever tasted! http://www.ezrapoundcake.com/archives/16631?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+ezrapoundcake+%28Ezra+Pound+Cake%29
