Disney World, here we come!

Disney World is booked and only one short month away! I need to get my ass in tip top shape and start saving every penny because this is going to be a lot more expensive than I was prepared for. But I'm excited to finally see Disney World and I can cross Florida off my list of states visited...

I'm really hoping that we miss the spring break crowd by going the last week in March, but it seems as though EVERY school has a completely different spring break, so we shall see?

Any suggestions, recommendations, tips or comments?

  1. I live in FL. and i think you are going to love the weather! Its the perfect time of yr. to go. Fl. gets crazy-hot really early in the yr. and you made the right choice to go now!

No flip flops. this is disney WORLD. not land. there are FOUR parks to cover. SIX if we're talking water parks. I recommend that you go to the magic kingdom as early as possible. say, opening. That place gets CROWDED as its the most popular park. Head straight to tomorrow land and then hit the haunted masion. everything else will be cake. also, animal kinddom closes early so make sure you get on mt. everest and the dinosaur ride. coolest. ever. epcot could possibly take a whole day as there is SO MUCH to do there. so plan around that.

HAVE A GOOD TIME! ILL BE GOING IN MARCH AS WELL AND I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW EXCITED I AM. DISNEY WORLD NEVER GETS OLD!

ps, disney quest is really fun too.

  2. I was hoping to go before it got too hot/humid, so this sounds great!

My boyfriend and I have annual passes to Disneyland and we go every month (sometimes twice!) so I know not to wear flip flops (I seriously don't understand people that can walk around all day in flip flops, heels or ugg boots--ugh!!)

Thanks for the rest of the tips, I will definitely keep them in mind! I'm not a roller coaster fan, so that may weed out some of the rides and lines and my boyfriend has been to DW a few times, but it's nice getting a response from someone who lives there and visits often!
