Dentist + Apple

I seriously love the dentist! It feels fantastic once these pearly whites are all cleaned and polished up. Sure, anything other than a cleaning is no fun, stressful, expensive and just plain boring, but I accept the cleanings with open arms. In fact, I always leave smiling. :D

It saddens me not being able to see my awesome childhood dentist, as he lives in Salt Lake City, but whilst scouring Yelp last year I found this dentist. She is so personable and doesn't make me feel as bad as she could when I tell her I only floss twice per week (oops!). Even today I was telling her that getting fluoride treatment as a child was my favorite part of the dentist (it isn't included in cleanings as an adult) and she threw on a creamsicle fluoride treatment for free!

Tonight I had a 2 hour group interview with Apple. At first I was skeptical of even going because how am I to stand out in a room of 30 people all fighting for the same job?! Speaking in front of that many strangers about something (a job) that I'm only slightly familiar with is really intimidating.

But I think I did great! If anything I was the only one with tattoos and that alone always seems to stand out! Haha. I must have been at least alright because I just receieved a phone call for a second interview tomorrow, yay!

  1. You weren't the only one with tattoos. My old roommate and friend Chris Hall was there, but I'm sure he had a long sleeve shirt on. His arm is completely covered though...Haha, small world. AGAIN!

  2. Meg, thanks!

Beca, small world for sure. I remember that name (we all had to introduce ourselves), but I don't remember who he was now! Did he get a call back too?!

  3. He got a call back for this morning. I hope you get the job, he wants to work at the store in Encinitas, though, so I don't think he's your competition. ;)

Good luck, hope you get the job! I'm sure you will.

  4. I love going to the dentist too! The feeling afterwards is amazing.

I am glad to hear you received a call to come back for a second interview. I will keep my fingers crossed for you! Good luck!

  5. Congrats on the second interview, and good luck!
