Dining Out For Life

Dining Out For Life is an annual dining fundraising event that raises money for AIDS service organizations. If you live in any of the 55 participating cities (find out by clicking here) I highly recommend visiting any of the restaurants taking part in the event. More than 3,500 restaurants are donating 25, 50 or even 100% of their proceeds to DOFL.

Since DOFL started in 1991, nearly $4 million per year is being raised to support the missions of agencies throughout North America. With the exception of the annual licensing fee of $1,000, all money raised in these cities stays there.

DOFL in San Diego (and most other cities) is being held on one special night, Thursday April 28th, but please make sure to check your cities date/participating restaurants here.

If you live in San Diego, these are the restaurants partaking in the event. I hope to see that everyone can make it!

Also, I gave you an award on my blog if you'd like to check it out (:

  4. It doesn't seem like they're doing this in Santa Cruz. What a drag. I noticed this when I was in Seattle. Restaurants had signs promoting it. Bummer, it's not happening here. I would think SC would be on it too.
