mini golf adventures

Yesterday Jon and I grabbed lunch at Sipz then took advantage of all day passes to Boomers that he bought through Groupon. It was a little disheartening when we got there to find out that the batting cages, arcade games and bumper boats were not included, but we had a blast playing mini golf and go-karting around. We even splurged and played some arcade games anyway!

  1. pretty sure everytime i read your blog i get super jealz! we love sipz!! have you eaten at stephanie's bakery in ob? i kind of love their vegan pizza with ronis and their vegan turnover/danish/pastry thingies are incredible!...we maybe buy them like a dozen at a time when we're in town...maybe. ;)

  2. Is stephanie's the one on Voltaire? If so, all the vegans I know here rave about it. I had a turnover there once and didn't really care for it :/

Tara, get your butt down here!!!

  3. yeah totally! you must've gotten one on an off day. ;)

  4. funny story, looked at the pictures on this post before reading where you went for the food and thought, goodness that bowl looks like it's from sipz... then I scrolled back up once I saw the tag san diego and realized indeed that is exactly what it was from.

While I love it up here in Portland, we have veg options galore, I do miss finding the almost hidden gems in San Diego. Pokez? Delicious.
